ok , i tried to use some HDRI lighting but note, instead of a skylight and light tracer i used no advanced lighting and an omni light, because, well, it renders alot quicker and i didnt want to wait to see what a skylight version looked like.
There are no weapons on this vehicle because it is just a scout.

note: big thanks to for the HDRI map pack, one of which i used here.

model looks great. use a tag for the sky so you don't get the hdr image showing up. use radiosity in conjunction with hdri lighting, otherwise it still won't look as realistic. ;)

I know how to use it in c4d, but I'll look around for some in 3dsm. they should be pretty similar, but setting names might be different.
