It was a toss up between scifi and waterscapes but i guess its more scifi
I was quite happy with the way the water turned out, props to  for the help. Although there isnt much reflection i think it looks better that way. I still hate VRay shaders (esp the way reflection/refraction work). Water is a subdivided plane with various noise maps and FFD's to simulate the force of the engine thrusters. Fusion trail created in FumeFXAt a new and improved size to celebrate my new monitors! 3Dsmax used for modelling Adobe Photoshop for painting textures Vray for Rendering Oh yes, theres nobody in it well, I guess pilots are optional. Automation is the way of the future anyway  Enjoy. And while you are reading this, remember that my Scifi contest ends in 6 days so get your entries in fast if you havent yet! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. If I may suggest, add some wakes on the surface right below the coastal patrol craft, that gives more impression that the craft doesn't look like standing still there.

People who uses the fake excuses really is the worst. They don't dare to tell the truth, and covered it with more lies. If the one you lied to learned the truth, it'll be more painful than saying it right to the face from the beginning.
