Turned up the number of samples of the Mental Ray Ambient/Reflective Occlusion Light Shader from 64 to 256.
There was still a little grainyness so I manually smudged the shadow haha

I started off initially with the turret object (which was just one turret and in the middle)
The idea i had was actually to have the legs of a mech with a kinda armor which is shaped like "r" over the leg (if you get what i mean)
from there i developed the turret then started working on the leg. I tried connecting them but it just seemed odd to me so i had to restructure it and add in
some kinda cockpit. It took a while because i was trying to make it fit together but my designs werent really working, but finally i got one i was happy with.
