Artist's Comments

I thought that one single skylight was abit boring for the lighting so i added a yellow IES sun to simulate the light from explosions or whatever coming fron the right of the ship. I always liked those blue/yellow lighting setups so i chose a HDRI with a blue top and yellow bottom. Testing also the "specular bloom" effects using a clamp glow on light areas of the render. Those white speckles are meant to be bullet/shrapnel holes in the hull, exposing the metal underneath. I'm currently in the process or remodelling the gun as you can see since i thought it looked abit pissweak.

im liking it i like the one on the right more not just for the textuer i think simpler is better, personaly it gives a realistic modern aproach both both are great nice work kehng love to the the final product.

hm? the one on the right is just part of what i was testing the textures on, i just hid the objects that i was working on atm :D

64bit windows allows program to access more than 2gb of memory (which is the limit in xp32, as far as i am aware of). It also allows me to utilise the full 4gb of my ram instead of 3gb of xp32.
