Interesting article on the 0.999... = 1 ^^ Although I'm still not convinced it does. The problem I see is assuming 1/3 = 0.333... While that's sufficient for most things it seems to me that its just the closest possible decimal to 1/3. If that isn't equal then the first two proofs are thrown out the window. Also the fact they they are using limits to prove it seems to say the same thing, but hey I could be wrong What do you think?
Yup, it's true 0.999... does equal 1. Just did this a few weeks ago in my numbers theory class. Anyone slightly interested in math should take a numbers theory course, fun stuff!

I think I'll stick to crayons and coloring books. If I'm feeling good I may consider lincoln logs. Don't count on it though.
